Roles & Responsibilities
PERFUMERY KNOWLEDGE
- Can identify the classic with historical reference
- Recognizes top leading fragrances, main chemical discoveries.
- Has sound chemical knowledge and raw materials knowledge
PERFUMERY FUNDAMENTALS
- Knows how to use multiple ingredients.
- Can adapt a fragrance from one base to another in different categories.
- Has awareness of cost of ingredients.
FRAGRANCE CREATION
- Is skillful in consumer fragrance schemas construction.
- Is familiar with the regulatory constraints and creation implication
CUSTOMER INTIMACY
- Demonstrates capability in presentation skills
- Understands and is able to articulate (internal) customer needs.
INNOVATION
- Cultivates the interest and curiosity to explore solutions for unmet needs
LEADERSHIP
- Presents their inspirations, tastes and trials
- Ability to work in teams
Desired Candidate Profile
Basic Requirementsbr>1. Essential Background/ Academic Qualification:br>Bachelor degree and chemistry understanding or background orbr>Diploma ISIPCA IFF Scent Design & Creation Programbr>Affiliation or proven record of success in design, arts, marketing, or business preferred./p>
2. Experience: br>Between 3 to 4 years of experience /p>
3. Languages: br>Fluent in English + any local language relevant for role/p>
4. Average time in position: br>3 years (perfumery school)/p>
5. Required Skills and Competencies:br> Strong Olfactive Skillsbr> Strong written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills br> Action Orientedbr> Creativitybr> Customer Focusbr> Agile/p>
