An Aquatics Event Lead is a pivotal position charged with the overall planning and execution of aquatic events within an organization or community setting. This role involves coordination, strategic planning, and operational oversight to ensure all events meet the standards of excellence and comply with safety regulations. The Aquatics Event Lead works closely with a team of professionals, manages budgets, and liaises with a variety of stakeholders including vendors, participants, and regulatory bodies. Responsibilities

- Coordinate with vendors and stakeholders to ensure smooth event operations.
- Manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective planning and execution strategies.
- Oversee the setup and breakdown of event sites to meet safety standards.
- Train and supervise event staff to ensure efficient and effective event delivery.
- Develop comprehensive event timelines and programs that cater to participants' needs.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding aquatic events.
- Address any issues or emergencies that arise onsite promptly and professionally.
- Evaluate post-event feedback for continued improvement of future events.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to promote events and increase participant turnout.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all event participants and staff.
- Maintain clear and open lines of communication with event stakeholders and participants.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Sports Management, Recreation, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Proven experience in organizing and managing large-scale aquatic events.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage teams.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and strategic planning ability.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and efficiency.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and safety standards in aquatics.
- Proficiency in budgeting and financial management for event planning.
