Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Proofread Arabic comic scripts and content for grammatical, spelling, and punctuation errors.
  • Ensure consistency in language, tone, and style across all Arabic materials.
  • Collaborate with writers, illustrators, and editors to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Review translated content to verify accuracy and cultural appropriateness.
  • Provide constructive feedback to content creators for continuous improvement.
  • Adhere to project guidelines and deadlines for timely delivery of assignments.
  • Identify and flag inconsistencies or ambiguities in the text.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Arabic language conventions and trends.
  • Support the adaptation of content for different Arabic-speaking regions as needed.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to process enhancements.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 1-2 years of professional experience in Arabic proofreading or editing.
  • Strong command of Modern Standard Arabic grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Attention to detail and a keen eye for linguistic accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects remotely.
  • Familiarity with creative or comic content is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and follow structured project guidelines.
  • Experience with digital editing tools and platforms.
  • Understanding of cultural nuances in Arabic language usage.
