Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the project's document control system, ensuring all documents are accurately filed, indexed, and readily accessible.
  • Oversee the receipt, logging, distribution, and retrieval of all project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
  • Ensure all documents adhere to Aramco's standards and project-specific requirements, including version control and revision management.
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely review, approval, and distribution of documents.
  • Conduct regular audits of the document control system to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide training and support to project personnel on document control procedures and systems.
  • Prepare and maintain document control reports, including status updates and metrics.
  • Manage the archiving and disposal of project documentation in accordance with Aramco's guidelines.
  • Utilize document management software (e.g., Aconex, ProjectWise) to effectively manage project documentation.
  • Collaborate with vendors and contractors to ensure proper document submission and adherence to document control procedures.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Holds a minimum of 3 -7 years of experience in document control within the Aramco Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry, ideally as Aramco Approved DC in projects.
  • Immediate Joiners Required
  • Has strong communication skills and is organized.
  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field like Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in using document management systems such as Aconex, ProjectWise, or similar platforms.
  • Exhibits a strong understanding of Aramco's document control procedures, standards, and specifications.
  • Has a proven track record of maintaining organized and accurate document filing and retrieval systems.
  • Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with project teams.
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail and organizational abilities for meticulous document management.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); Arabic language proficiency is a plus.
  • Exhibits the ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Demonstrates experience in handling high volumes of documentation and meeting tight deadlines.
