Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Create detailed architectural drawings, plans, and layouts based on sketches, specifications, and design requirements.
  • Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, or other drafting software to produce accurate technical drawings for construction projects.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project specifications and requirements.
  • Define project objectives, budget parameters, and design preferences.
  • Present proposals, incorporate feedback, and guide clients through decision-making processes.
  • Communicate effectively with project teams and clients to clarify design details and resolve issues.
  • Support the design process by preparing preliminary and final drawings for review.
  • Develop design concepts in response to client requirements, site conditions, and regulatory constraints, including preparing schematic designs, detailed drawings, and 3D models.
  • Update drawings to reflect changes during the design and construction phases.
  • Ensure adherence to zoning laws, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant drafting software to create detailed architectural drawings, plans, sections, and elevations.
  • Ability to efficiently use software tools for drafting, editing, and annotating drawings.
  • 3D Max Design is an advantage.
  • Understanding local building codes, regulations, and construction standards relevant to architectural design and documentation.
  • Team mentoring and collaboration.
  • Time management and project prioritization.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and regulations.
