Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
As a Java Solution Architect, you will be responsible for the overall design and technical consistency of the solutions:
- To define the architecture of applications in a Java/J2EE environment and guide technical choices.
- Designing robust, scalable and high-performance solutions that meet business challenges.
- Participate in needs analysis, scoping workshops and impact studies.
- To supervise and guide development teams in the implementation of best practices.
- Ensuring technical quality: standards, safety, performance, maintainability.
- Conduct code reviews, technical audits and produce architecture documentation.
- Promote good DevOps practices (CI/CD, automation, monitoring).
- Collaborating with stakeholders in an Agile environment (Scrum, SAFe).
- To monitor technological developments in order to propose continuous improvements.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in computer science.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Java development, including proven experience in software architecture.
- Excellent mastery of the Java/J2EE ecosystem, Spring/Spring Boot, REST API, microservices.
- Strong skills in design patterns, UML modeling and continuous integration.
- Knowledge of cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and DevOps tools.
- Analytical skills, ability to synthesize information and technical leadership.
- Proficient in supporting and communicating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work in an Agile environment.
