Project: Construction Supervision of Residential Villas & Infrastructure

Location: Liwa, Al Dhafra Region, Abu Dhabi

Job Summary

KN International is seeking an Architectural Inspector to support the client in the construction supervision, coordination, quality control, safety monitoring, and contract administration of residential villas and associated infrastructure works. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction supervision in the UAE or similar environment, with strong technical knowledge in architectural works, site inspection, and quality assurance. The role involves ensuring that all architectural construction activities are executed in accordance with approved IFC drawings, specifications, authority requirements, safety standards, and contractual obligations, from mobilization through handover and defects liability period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct day-to-day inspection and supervision of architectural works including finishes, fit-out works, waterproofing, masonry, ceilings, flooring, and external works.
• Monitor contractor activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project schedule.
• Review and verify contractor submissions including material approvals, shop drawings, method statements, test reports, as-built drawings, and O&M manuals.
• Carry out site inspections, witness testing and commissioning activities, and report non-conformances (NCRs) as required.
• Monitor workmanship quality and ensure architectural works meet project and authority standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, authorities, and stakeholders to support smooth project execution.
• Ensure implementation of HSE requirements, safe working practices, and environmental controls at all times.
• Support project controls including progress tracking, reporting, and participation in coordination meetings.
• Assist in snagging, final inspections, handover activities, and monitoring during the defects liability period.
• Maintain accurate site documentation including inspection records, reports, and punch lists.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in architectural inspection or construction supervision in the UAE or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of architectural materials, finishes, and quality control procedures.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and authority standards.
• Good coordination, communication, and reporting skills.
• Knowledge of UAE local regulations, codes, and standards.
• Experience in villa, infrastructure, and utility projects is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to work in Liwa, Al Dhafra Region, Abu Dhabi.
