Armament/ Avionics Systems Instructor

Serves as the AH64E/AH6i Electrical/Armament/Avionics Systems Instructor under the guidance of the Aviation Institute's Technical Department Training Manager. This role involves delivering instruction for the 15Y MOS Qualification Course, including academic teaching, hands-on performance training, evaluations, and developing course schedules to ensure students meet proficiency and maintenance standards. Additionally, responsible for maintaining accurate Student Training Records.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma.
• Graduate of the US Army 15Y AH-64 Armament/Electrical/Avionics Systems Repairer course or an equivalent military/civilian program.
• At least 6 years of maintenance experience as an AH64E/AH6i Electrical/Armament/ Avionics Systems.
• Capable of developing syllabi and providing instruction to 15Y/Yi AH64E/AH6i Electrical/Armament/ Avionics Systems Technician candidates.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of Army Aviation training concepts, administration, operations, and logistics.
• Proven ability to manage a team to achieve organizational goals.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; must be experienced in using Adobe Pro and other relevant programs and applications.
