Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Serves as the AH64E/AH6i Electrical/Armament/Avionics Systems Instructor under the guidance of the Aviation Institute's Technical Department Training Manager. This role involves delivering instruction for the 15Y MOS Qualification Course, including academic teaching, hands-on performance training, evaluations, and developing course schedules to ensure students meet proficiency and maintenance standards. Additionally, responsible for maintaining accurate Student Training Records.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma.
- Graduate of the US Army 15Y AH-64 Armament/Electrical/Avionics Systems Repairer course or an equivalent military/civilian program.
- At least 6 years of maintenance experience as an AH64E/AH6i Electrical/Armament/ Avionics Systems.
- Capable of developing syllabi and providing instruction to 15Y/Yi AH64E/AH6i Electrical/Armament/ Avionics Systems Technician candidates.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of Army Aviation training concepts, administration, operations, and logistics.
- Proven ability to manage a team to achieve organizational goals.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; must be experienced in using Adobe Pro and other relevant programs and applications.
Desired Candidate Profile
