Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Assist the lead teacher in planning and delivering age-appropriate art lessons and activities for nursery-aged children.
Support the creation of a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages artistic exploration.
Guide children in using various art materials and techniques, ensuring proper supervision and safety at all times.
Collaborate with the teaching team to integrate art projects with other areas of the early childhood curriculum.
Observe and document children's progress, providing feedback to the lead teacher and parents as needed.
Help organize and display children's artwork throughout the classroom and during special events or exhibitions.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of art supplies and classroom materials.
Assist with classroom management and support positive behavior among students.
Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and supervisors regarding student activities and progress.
Desired Candidate Profile
Up to 2 years of experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting.
Passion for art education and early childhood development.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Creativity and enthusiasm for developing engaging art activities.
Basic knowledge of child safety and classroom management practices.
Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development.
Organizational skills and attention to detail.
Flexibility to adapt to the needs of the classroom and students.
