The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to deliver inspiring lessons that encourage artistic expression, experimentation, and critical thinking. With experience of teaching at all levels, including iGCSE and A-Level, you will design and lead a stimulating curriculum, foster a supportive and dynamic classroom environment, and prepare students for examinations while helping them develop their unique creative voices. You will bring enthusiasm, expertise, and imagination to every lesson and guide students to achieve their full potential.

You will:

Deliver high-quality teaching and learning aligned with the English National Curriculum.

Inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential academically and personally.

Plan creative and challenging lessons that stretch every learner.

Use assessment and feedback effectively to ensure continual progress.

Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and enhance the department s curriculum.

Contribute to the school s vibrant co-curricular and enrichment programme.

Embody the values and vision of Queen s and Artemis Education in everything you do.

The Ideal Candidate

A qualified teacher with a Bachelor s degree in Art, Art Education or equivalent and PGCE/QTS (or equivalent).

Has at least 5 years' experience teaching the English National Curriculum in Primary and Secondary phases.

An educator with a proven record of teaching up to Key Stage 3, ideally within international or British curriculum schools. Experience of teaching iGCSE and A-Level Art is desirable.

Skilled at creating inclusive, engaging learning environments that challenge and support every student.

Confident in integrating technology to enhance learning experiences.

A collaborative professional who thrives in a diverse, forward-thinking team.
