Founded in the year 1977, the Arab Shipbuilding & Repair Yard (ASRY) company is one of the oldest and experienced marine repair facilities in the Middle East. Situated in Hidd, Bahrain, the facility includes a huge dry-dock, twin slipways, 2 floating docks, 15 repair berths, a range of workshops, and numerous service centers. The yard also has jack-up rigs and other offshore assets which are managed by the facility’s dedicated division – ASRY Offshore Services.
Since its foundation, the company has served many major marine asset owners from all over the world. Some of the clients ASRY has worked with are Bahri, ENSCO, Zamil Offshore, NPCC, Saipem, Hercules Offshore, ONGC, Blue Star, etc. The company is accredited with a majority of the leading standards pertaining to ship repair, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 18001, ISPS Code Certification, ISO 28000, ISO 20858 and more.
