Roles & Responsibilities
Job Summary:
We are seeking an Assessment Expert specializing in creating practical assessment documentation for City & Guilds (C&G) Level 3 qualifications, aligned with L3 QHB standards. The candidate will develop high quality, compliant assessment materials to evaluate learners’ competencies in practical settings, ensuring alignment with C&G standards and aviation industry requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and review practical assessment documentation for C&G Level 3 qualifications, focusing on mechanical, Avionics, and Weapons systems.
- Ensure assessments meet L3 QHB standards and reflect real-world aviation industry scenarios.
- Collaborate with curriculum developers to align assessments with training objectives.
- Validate assessment tools for accuracy, reliability, and compliance with C&G guidelines.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of C&G standards and aviation industry requirements.
- Provide training and guidance on assessment methodologies and best practices to Developers, Instructors or Assessors.
- Review and update existing assessments documents for level 2 or level 3 to maintain compliance with C&G and industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in creating practical assessment documentation for C&G Level 3 qualifications, preferably at L3 QHB standard.
- Strong understanding of assessment design principles and C&G compliance requirements.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in educational assessment or vocational training environments.
- Background in aircraft maintenance, mechanical engineering, avionics, or weapons systems education is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical and documentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under strict regulatory frameworks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in aviation training or assessment environments.
- Familiarity with practical assessment tools and methodologies specific to technical.
