Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Integrity Management Systems

  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve the Asset Integrity Management System (AIMS).
  • Establish and manage Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) programmes.
  • Maintain integrity databases and inspection records to support risk-informed decision-making.

Static Equipment & Pipeline Integrity

  • Manage inspection, testing, and certification of pressure vessels, piping, heat exchangers, and pipelines.
  • Oversee pipeline integrity activities including corrosion monitoring, pigging, CP surveys, and wall thickness assessments.
  • Lead fitness-for-service (FFS) assessments in line with industry standards.

Corrosion & Materials Engineering

  • Lead corrosion management strategies for sour and wet service systems.
  • Ensure correct materials selection and coating specifications.
  • Monitor and optimise corrosion inhibition programmes.

Governance, Leadership & Interfaces

  • Act as focal point for integrity audits and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead integrity-related RCAs and ensure preventive actions are implemented.
  • Provide integrity input to projects, modifications, and design reviews.
  • Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary integrity teams and external contractors.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Mechanical, Materials, Metallurgical, or Chemical Engineering (Master s preferred).

  • 20+ years experience in asset integrity or corrosion management within onshore oil & gas.
  • Strong experience in sour service environments (H S, CO ).
  • Expertise in RBI, corrosion mechanisms, pipeline integrity, and inspection methodologies.
  • Professional certifications preferred (API 510/570/580/653, NACE, ASNT, API 579).
  • Proven leadership and stakeholder management capability.
  • Experience working in the Middle East highly desirable.
  • Fluent in English.
