Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver graduate level courses.
- Supervise master's and doctorate students
in the program while actively engaging in the academic life of DI. - Publish research in specialized and related fields in leading
refereed / peer reviewed journals and/or reputable academic publishing houses. - Undertake administrative responsibilities and
contribute to the needs of the program, school, institute, and community - Participate in various committees at the program, school,
and institute levels.
Qualification, Experiences and Skills:
Applicants must:
- Hold a
doctorate degree in the field of Comparative Literature from a recognized Program or Department of Comparative Literature. - Demonstrate a track record of scientific research and publications in their field of specialization and related areas in international
peer-reviewed journals that align with their academic rank. - Possess competence and experience in graduate-level teaching.
- Exhibit proficiency in the Arabic language.
- Be capable of attracting external support and funding for research.
- Be
willing to engage in collaborative, interdisciplinary research with other members of the program and/or institute. - Have the
potential to build a global reputation in specialized research fields.
