Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Bakery Chef is responsible for preparing, baking, and presenting a variety of baked goods such as bread, pastries, cakes, and desserts. The role requires creativity, precision, and adherence to quality and hygiene standards.
Desired Candidate Profile
Prepare and bake a wide range of bakery items including breads, pastries, cakes, cookies, and desserts
Develop new recipes and improve existing ones to enhance product quality
Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation of all baked goods
Monitor inventory levels and order baking supplies as needed
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery section
Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times
Manage baking schedules to ensure timely production
Ensure proper storage of ingredients and finished products
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Bakery Chef, Pastry Chef, or similar role
Strong knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients
Creativity and attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced coorperate environment
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
Good time management and organizational skills
Culinary certification or diploma is an advantage
