Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.
  • Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
  • Manage the company’s accounting systems and financial records
  • Evaluate and keep track of the company’s cost expenditures
  • Gather and analyze the company’s operational costs
  • Establish budgets and costs for business processes, such as administration, labor, shipping, etc
  • Prepare and maintain internal audit reports
  • Analyze costs related to accounting, budgeting, taxation, and other financial activities
  • Recommend ways to reduce costs and prepare budget adjustments
  • Prepare budgets and cost estimates for projects across the company
  • Prepare and maintain weekly, monthly, and annual financial reports
  • Maintain inventory data by reviewing invoices, purchase orders, etc
  • Advise the company’s executives on appropriate costing based on financial data
  • Administer and maintain the company’s balance sheets and accounting books
  • Identify and implement cost-efficient solutions that will improve business processes
  • Prepare budgeting reports (for the company and for each department)
  • Analyze and report profit margins
  • Prepare (monthly, quarterly and annual) cost forecasts
  • Assisting in month-end and year-end closing
  • Identify and recommend cost-effective solutions

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements:

  • Qualified: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a relevant field - B com and CPA/ICAI /CMA or CPCA, CCA.
  • Cost Accountant , Cost Analysis, or a related role - 2- 4 years of experience in the oil & gas sector or trading commercial company.
  • MS Office - EXCEL - Advance level, SAGE X3 will be preferred OR Must-Have ERP Accounting System.
  • Strong analytical skills, Expertise working with QuickBooks and financial statements
  • Professional certification related to accounting is advantageous
  • Sound understanding of accounting, financial, and organizational concepts
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting software
  • Exceptional analytical skills ,Excellent communication
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Effective problem-solving
