Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the delivery of post-contract cost management services across infrastructure packages.
  • Support the preparation of cost reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Monitor project costs and help track expenditure against approved budgets.
  • Assist in the evaluation of variations and contractor submissions.
  • Support the assessment of interim valuations and final accounts.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate project records and documentation.
  • Assist in drafting contractual correspondence and notices.
  • Identify potential commercial risks and escalate as appropriate.
  • Attend project meetings and support the team in delivering clear commercial updates.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider project team to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Skills & Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 4 years experience in Quantity Surveying / Cost Management.
  • Exposure to infrastructure projects (roads, utilities, drainage, etc.) is highly desirable.
  • Basic understanding of post-contract commercial processes.
  • Familiarity with FIDIC contracts is advantageous.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and willingness to engage with clients and stakeholders.
  • Proactive attitude with a strong desire to learn and develop.
  • Ability to manage tasks effectively within a team environment.

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum of 2 4 years experience in Quantity Surveying / Cost Management. Exposure to infrastructure projects (roads, utilities, drainage, etc.) is highly desirable. Basic understanding of post-contract commercial processes. Familiarity with FIDIC contracts is advantageous. Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail. Good communication skills and willingness to engage with clients and stakeholders. Proactive attitude with a strong desire to learn and develop. Ability to manage tasks effectively within a team environment. University degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline. Progress towards MRICS (or equivalent) is preferred.
