Core Duties
* Supervise and guide accounting staff and payroll functions to ensure efficiency and accuracy
* Assist in preparing monthly financial reports, schedules, and annual budgets
* Ensure timely posting and accuracy of charges and credits across accounts
* Reconcile balance sheet items with subsidiary ledgers and clear contra accounts monthly
* Review and monitor accounting processes to ensure compliance with standards and hotel policies
* Establish internal controls for accurate and timely reporting
* Research and adapt accounting practices in line with new laws or government regulations
* Approve journal vouchers from accounts payable, receivable, payroll, cashier, and cost control teams
* Produce financial analysis and reports to support management decision-making
* Coordinate cross-departmental financial processes to maximize productivity and efficiency
* Represent the Finance Department in dealings with employees, auditors, and external stakeholders
* Promote cost-effective resource use and educate staff on financial efficiency
* Lead, motivate, and develop accounting teams to achieve departmental objectives
Candidate Profile
* Bachelor s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
* Professional certification such as CPA, CA, or ICW (intermediate level or above) preferred
* Minimum 6 years of finance or accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
* Strong business acumen and ability to align financial processes with organizational goals
* Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and financial systems
* Excellent English communication skills (oral and written)
* Proven track record of supervising teams and delivering accurate, timely financial data
* High degree of professionalism, integrity, and organizational ability
