Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving sales strategies, managing key accounts, and leading a high-performing sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue and market share
- Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment
- Conduct site visits, sales trips to promote hotel products and services
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities
- Collaborate with the Director of Sales and Marketing in setting and achieving departmental goals and budgets
- Oversee the development of compelling proposals and contracts for clients
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively pursuing new business prospects
- Ensure seamless communication between the sales team and other hotel departments
- Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback and coaching
- Participate in industry events and networking opportunities to enhance the hotel's visibility
- Assist in recruiting, selecting, and training new sales team members
- Handle high-level client negotiations and resolve complex customer issues
- Produce accurate sales forecasts and reports for upper management
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Strong understanding of the hospitality industry and sales strategies
- Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies
- Experience in managing and motivating high-performing sales teams
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Fluency in English
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Willingness to travel as required for sales activities and client meetings
