Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The role holder is responsible for managing the Procurement support functions and overseeing the execution of the Procurement strategy to ensure the department achieves its mission, goals and objectives. Specifically, the role holder will manage the areas of Procurement Governance, Procurement performance, Market Intelligence, as well as overseeing Customer relationship management. The role holder is responsible for developing existing systems, processes and productivity and works closely with the Head of Procurement to identify current and future procurement trends to meet the needs of Client.
Desired Candidate Profile
Master/Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as Procurement, Supply Chain Management.
Relevant professional certification and memberships.
At least 8 years of experience in Procurement with minimum 3 years in the Middle East region and 5 years in senior roles.
Strong communication, influencing and negotiation skills
Understanding of domestic and international logistics
Knowledge of freight and cargo shipping processes and regulations
