Roles & Responsibilities
Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Dur Hospitality Company SJSC. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.
Supports the Director of Sales & Marketing in developing and executing the hotel s overall sales and marketing strategy.
Assists in preparing and implementing the annual commercial plan, budget, and forecast in coordination with the GM and HODs.
Maintains strong visibility within the local community and hospitality market to generate business opportunities.
Oversees daily sales office operations, ensuring accurate account management, updated records, and proper follow-up systems.
Assists in leading, motivating, and guiding the sales team; conducts joint sales calls and client meetings when required.
Monitors sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities (locally and regionally) and provides regular reports.
Identifies new markets and business opportunities to increase revenue across all segments (Corporate, Leisure, Groups, etc.).
Supports the development and execution of marketing campaigns, promotional activities, digital initiatives, and brand positioning.
Ensures proper handling of business accounts including tracing, contracting, internal coordination, and post-event follow-up.
Conducts sales calls, client entertainment, trade shows, FAM trips, and site inspections to secure new and repeat business.
Assists in rate negotiations and works closely with the Revenue Manager to ensure alignment with revenue strategies and financial targets.
Supervises the preparation of proposals, contracts, corporate rate agreements, and customer correspondence.
Builds and maintains strong relationships with key accounts and strategic partners to drive long-term growth.
Education:
-Bachelor s Degree in related field
Experience:
-8 years of Previous hotel-related experience
Technical Expertise/Knowledge Required:
Service oriented style with professional presentations skills.
Experience in budgeting and business planning.
Analysis Skills.
Strategic Planning Abilities.
Strong Communication Skills.
Collaboration and Motivation Skills.
