Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Contribute to the preparation of proposals and presentations, showcasing the firm's environmental consulting capabilities.
- Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and regulatory agencies to address environmental concerns and achieve project goals.
- Stay informed about current environmental regulations, policies, and best practices, ensuring project compliance.
- Assist in the development and delivery of environmental training programs for project staff and stakeholders.
- Provide support in environmental impact assessments (EIAs), contributing to the identification and evaluation of environmental impacts.
- Analyze environmental data, interpret results, and prepare technical reports to support environmental decision-making.
- Monitor environmental compliance at project sites, conducting inspections and audits to ensure adherence to environmental standards.
- Assist in the development and implementation of environmental management plans and programs for various projects.
- Prepare environmental reports, permit applications, and regulatory submissions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Conduct environmental site assessments, including field investigations and data collection, to identify potential environmental risks.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
- Demonstrates knowledge of environmental regulations and permitting processes; experience with specific regulations is advantageous.
- Holds relevant certifications, such as Certified Environmental Professional (CEP) or similar, showcasing professional competence.
- Exhibits 1-3 years of relevant industry experience, preferably in environmental consulting or a related field.
- Has experience working on projects within the environmental sector, demonstrating practical application of knowledge.
- No nationality preference, as the role is open to candidates of all nationalities.
- Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of additional languages is a bonus.
- Demonstrates strong technical skills, including proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., GIS, Excel) and report writing.
- Exhibits excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, crucial for effective collaboration.
- Possesses strong personal qualities, including attention to detail, a proactive approach, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
