Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in maintenance and repair of cement plant equipment such as crushers, conveyors, kilns, and mills
  • Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance of mechanical systems
  • Support senior fitters and engineers in breakdown maintenance
  • Dismantle and assemble machinery components as required
  • Ensure proper alignment, lubrication, and functioning of equipment
  • Follow safety procedures and company guidelines at all times
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good condition
  • Report any faults or abnormalities to the supervisor promptly

Requirements:

  • ITI Certificate in Fitter Trade.
  • 4 7 years of experience specifically in cement manufacturing plants
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with plant machinery such as rotary kilns, ball mills, and conveyors
  • Ability to work in a team and under supervision
  • Basic understanding of safety standards and procedures
