Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Promote the School vision and mission within the School community.

Collaborate with the Head of School to lead and manage the EYFS team effectively.

To assist with day-to-day running of the School, inclusive of covering classes and specific adminstrative roles.

Provide guidance and support to EYFS staff in implementing inclusive practices.

Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to inclusion within the EYFS setting.

Support the continuous professional development of EYFS staff in the areas of inclusion and diversity.

Monitor the progress of all children within the EYFS setting, including those with additional needs.

Use assessment data to identify any gaps or areas for improvement in provision and practice.

Work collaboratively with staff to implement targeted interventions and support strategies where necessary.

Build positive relationships with all stakeholders and outside agencies.

Desired Candidate Profile

Successful candidates will have a strong background in inclusion, preferably having held a SENCo role or similar.

Strong understanding of inclusion principles and best practices in early years education.

Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with a range of stakeholders.

A commitment to ongoing professional development and a reflective approach to practice.

An enthusiastic, passionate and inspirational teacher, with experience of teaching EYFS British curriculum.
