Key Responsibilities
* Conduct in-depth research on IFRS and local GAAP accounting issues, providing technical insights and recommendations.
* Prepare detailed technical reports, memos, and presentations on accounting and reporting matters.
* Lead and deliver advisory engagements including preparation of financial statements, IFRS conversion, and accounting policy design.
* Develop accounting policies for revenue recognition, leasing, and complex transactions under IFRS and other frameworks.
* Support client proposals and scope development, including budgeting and project planning.
* Collaborate with senior managers, partners, and clients to balance strategic objectives, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
* Educate clients on new accounting standards and their impact on financial reporting systems.
* Oversee project planning, resource allocation, and coordination for both local and international engagements.
* Manage advisory projects related to complex accounting issues, acquisitions, and IFRS impact assessments.
* Ensure compliance with Deloitte s quality standards and maintain thorough documentation for audit and advisory work.
Candidate Requirements
* Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration with strong academic performance.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in public accounting, audit, or technical accounting advisory.
* Proven experience with IFRS, financial reporting, and financial statement preparation.
* Strong analytical, project management, and technical writing skills.
* Ability to communicate complex accounting concepts clearly and effectively.
* Experience in financial close processes, financial controls, and structuring accounting matters.
* Proficient in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong presentation and interpersonal skills with an ability to collaborate across teams.
* Fluent in English (reading, speaking, and writing).
