Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a CA-qualified Assistant Manager – Accounts & Finance with around 3 years of UAE experience. The role involves managing financial operations, reporting, compliance, and supporting strategic financial planning. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of IFRS, VAT, and local financial regulations.

Desired Candidate Profile

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial statements and ensure accurate month-end/year-end closing
  • Manage accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger
  • Oversee VAT filing, compliance, and coordination with FTA audits
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Support audits and liaise with external auditors
  • Supervise junior staff and ensure adherence to internal controls
  • Liaise with banks and external stakeholders as required
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
  • 3+ years of UAE experience in accounting and finance
  • Strong understanding of IFRS, VAT, and UAE regulations
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Good communication, analytical, and time-management skills
