Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Operations Management

    • Supervise and coordinate industrial cleaning projects including tank cleaning, sludge removal, heat exchanger cleaning, pipeline flushing, and confined space entry operations.

    • Ensure compliance with HSE standards, ISO, and local regulatory requirements.

    • Monitor daily operations, allocate manpower, and manage equipment utilization (Hydro Jetting, Super Sucker, vacuum trucks, etc.).

  • Technical Expertise

    • Provide technical guidance on cleaning methodologies for storage tanks, separators, reactors, boilers, and heat exchangers.

    • Evaluate sludge characterization and recommend safe disposal/recycling methods.

    • Support troubleshooting of cleaning challenges in oil & gas and petrochemical facilities.

  • Client & Stakeholder Management

    • Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth project execution.

    • Prepare technical proposals, work scopes, and cost estimates for tenders and ongoing projects.

    • Maintain strong client relationships to secure repeat business.

  • Team Leadership

    • Train and mentor supervisors, technicians, and operators in safe and efficient cleaning practices.

    • Conduct toolbox talks, safety drills, and performance evaluations.

    • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

  • Reporting & Documentation

    • Prepare daily progress reports, incident reports, and project closure documentation.

    • Track KPIs such as turnaround time, resource efficiency, and safety compliance.

    • Support management in CAPEX/OPEX planning and budgeting.


Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline.

  • Minimum 6–8 years of experience in industrial cleaning/waste management, with at least 2-3 years in supervisory or assistant managerial role.

  • Strong knowledge of:

    • Tank cleaning, sludge removal, heat exchanger cleaning, pipeline descaling

    • Hydro Jetting, Super Sucker, vacuum trucks, chemical cleaning methods

    • Oil & Gas and Petrochemical plant operations in GCC

  • Familiarity with HSE regulations, confined space entry, and hazardous waste handling.

  • Strong knowledge of rotating equipment, pumps, compressors, and waste management systems.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and client management skills.


Preferred Certifications

  • NEBOSH / IOSH (Health & Safety)

  • Confined Space Entry & Rescue

  • ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 awareness
