Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Maintain HIS System: Ensure the Hospital Information System (HIS) is functional, secure, and continuously improved to meet operational needs. - Troubleshoot HIS and ICT Issues: Resolve basic software issues related to HIS and other ICT systems. - Manage Other Applications: Oversee the performance, updates, and configuration of hospital applications like LIS RIS/PACS, Contact Center etc. - Ensure Technology Accessibility: Maintain up-to-date software across departments to support seamless access to ICT resources. - Monitor Technology Usage: Track system performance and availability to ensure maximum uptime and accessibility. - Develop ICT Policies and Procedures: Create and implement guidelines for electronic data processing and system operations to ensure consistency and compliance. - Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with managers and stakeholders to gather system requirements, define specifications, and establish implementation timelines. - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor of Technology / Hospital Administration or Equivalent Degree with Minimum of 10 years of experience working in a hospital/healthcare IT setup.
Certifications (desirable but not mandatory):
- Project Management
- Hospital or Healthcare Management
- Any Technical Certification
Hands-on experience with:
- Hospital Information Systems (HIS) and Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
- Laboratory Information System and Radiology Information System.
- Software end user trainings
- Software testing and implementation
