Roles & Responsibilities

Reporting to Administration daily on IP issues for corrective actions
Conducting and participating on weekly Inter-Departmental brainstorming sessions/meetings
Actively participate in weekly non-clinical meeting and bringing forward the internal issues related to IP Department
Collecting data related to list of surgeries and deliveries done for weekly/monthly
Preparing the list of patients given discounts for further approvals from Administration
Managing all IP staff queries and scheduling their duties (IP Billing, Ward Secretary Coders & Radiology Staffs)
Assigning task and ensuring the completion of the given task before Deadline bill statements, Claim submissions and Doctors payment settlements
Liaison with Marketing and Administration Department in preparing the packages for surgeries
Ensuring the accuracy of the cost estimates given to the clients with due follow-ups
Promptly responding the queries received through emails and over the phones
Ensure the accurate billing is managed for the services rendered by the facility and ensure the patients are billed correctly as per the coding guidelines
Resolving billing issues by discussing with HODs, MRP and Administration
Provide invoice by entering service data, calculating charges and mailing invoices if required
Ensuring precise and accurate documentation for back office to submit claims
Following up of outstanding payments and updating to Admin and Finance accordingly
Liaison with Legal Cell and Administration Department on illegal cases and specific cases for needful actions
Meeting new joiners for orientation including Doctors and other staffs
