Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist in maintaining operational systems, tools, and databases for tracking deal flow, portfolio performance, and operational metrics.

Ensure timely and accurate data entry, document management, and communication across teams.

Provide operational support in managing internal workflows, such as investment tracking, portfolio monitoring, and reporting.

Coordinate meetings, presentations, and communications for senior management, investors, and external stakeholders.

Support the preparation and distribution of internal reports and presentations (e.g., market reports, investment summaries).

Organize events, workshops, and networking opportunities, ensuring smooth execution and logistics management.

Conduct basic analysis and provide insights on operational performance, investment trends, and portfolio health.

Assist with compiling, formatting, and coordinating reports for internal and external stakeholders, including the fund management company.

Help track and manage key investment process milestones, ensuring adherence to deadlines and objectives.

Oversee daily office operations, ensuring facilities availability and a well-organized working environment.

Manage office supplies, equipment, and vendor coordination.

Act as a point of contact for office-related inquiries, facilitating communication between teams and handling phone/email correspondence.

Own and manage venture programs and events, either promoted by the fund or developed in partnership with ecosystem players (e.g., accelerators, incubators, venture funds).

Coordinate with participants, vendors, and stakeholders to plan, organize, and execute events.

Track venture program progress, providing guidance and reporting on milestones.

Develop and implement marketing campaigns to enhance the fund s visibility and showcase achievements.

Maintain consistent messaging across communication channels, ensuring alignment with branding objectives.

Contribute to content creation, including blogs, social media posts, event promotions, and fund updates.

Engage with the startup and investor community, promoting fund-sponsored events and networking opportunities.

Measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts and social media engagement, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Identify areas for process enhancement in operations, reporting, and communication workflows.

Support cross-functional projects and ad hoc initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

Assist in managing special projects, ensuring smooth collaboration across teams.

Understand and follow clearly articulated guidance on how to complete assigned tasks, ensuring alignment with sub-functional goals.

Utilize allocated resources efficiently to complete tasks as per defined standards and within process boundaries.

Comply with established policies, processes, and procedures to ensure work accuracy and consistency.

Address simple, recurring issues independently while escalating complex challenges to the appropriate stakeholders.

Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying inefficiencies in routine activities.

Actively participate in pre-defined development initiatives, leveraging organizational resources to enhance skills and knowledge.

Desired Candidate Profile

3+ years of experience in operations, project management, or administrative roles, preferably in venture capital, private equity, or a related field

Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a keen eye for detail

Familiarity with venture capital operations, financial models, or startup ecosystems is a plus

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software (e.g., CRM systems - e.g., Affinity, project management tools)

Relevant finance / accounting qualifications or experience in the field

Excellent spoken and written English and Arabic

Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or a related field preferred
