Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking an Assistant Operations Manager to support the smooth day-to-day execution of operational activities within a structured and regulated environment. This role works closely with the Operations Manager to ensure operational consistency, quality, and continuity across multiple workflows.

The Assistant Operations Manager plays a hands-on support role, contributing to execution, coordination, quality assessment, and operational backup.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily operational execution across multiple workflows and functions
  • Ensure all internal Service Level Agreement (SLAs) are met
  • Assist with the coordination and completion of operational tasks and activities
  • Prepare insights and recommendations to support continuous improvement
  • Maintain operational trackers and documentation related to activities, issues, and events
  • Lead internal projects end to end
  • Provide backup coverage during absences or periods of increased workload
  • Conduct quality checks and proactively identify and flag risks, deviations, or control gaps
  • Support onboarding, training, and knowledge-sharing initiatives internal and with BPOs (Business Partners Outsourcing)
  • Assist with additional operational tasks as assigned by the Operations Manager

Decision Authority & Escalation

  • Operates within established procedures and guidelines
  • Escalates complex or high-risk matters to operations manager
  • Final decision-making and accountability remain with the Operations Manager

Desired Candidate Profile

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience in an operations role or a customer service team leader position
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working in structured, process-driven environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a regulated or compliance-driven industry is a plus
  • Exposure to quality assurance, process improvement, or support activities
