Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Assistant Professor will be part of the Academic department with the following responsibilities.
- Teaching courses at undergraduate and graduate level
- Undertake research work and publish at least one research papers in Scopus indexed journal
- Demonstrated potential for teaching excellence and research productivity
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and deliver new learning methods with the ability to foster a student-centered learning environment
- Willingness to contribute to departmental and College service such as serving on committees, any other services related to the college, as well as participating in student advising.
- Proficiency in relevant technologies and passion for educational innovation
Desired Candidate Profile
To be eligible for the position, the candidate must meet the following requirements:
- The candidate must hold a full-time PhD in Cybersecurity or Computer Science with a concentration in Cybersecurity from a university recognized by MOHERI.
- The candidate s Master s degree cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) should be no less than 3.20 on a 4-point scale.
- Candidates must have at least two years of higher education teaching experience in Cybersecurity at recognized institutions of higher education, post-PhD.
- Preference will be given to those with significant contributions to scientific research and published work in Cybersecurity field.
- Candidates must have at least two (2) papers published in recognized peer-reviewed journals. These papers must not be derived from the candidate s Master s thesis.
- The candidate should be under 45 years of age as of the appointment date.
