Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities will include teaching a wide range of undergraduate and graduate courses across the Computing curriculum, advising students, participating in the continued development of our curriculum, and actively participating in the other faculty responsibilities within the department and college.

Strong expertise in teaching core computing courses such as:

  • Cybersecurity
  • Deep Learning
  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Internet of Things (IoT)
  • IoT Security
  • Theory of Computation and Compiler Design
  • Active involvement in postgraduate research guidance.
  • Commitment to student-centered learning, innovation in teaching, and contribution to departmental and institutional development.

Preferred Skills:

Proficiency in cybersecurity tools and advanced programming languages

Engagement in industry-oriented research or consultancy

Excellent communication and mentoring skills with an international outlook.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Computer Science / Artificial Intelligence from a recognized university.
  • Minimum 4 years of teaching experience.
  • Postdoctoral research exposure is preferred.
  • Proven record of publications in high-impact, peer-reviewed SCI and Scopus-indexed journals in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, Cybersecurity, and Internet of Things (IoT) Security, with a strong research impact demonstrated by a high H-index and significant citation count.
  • Demonstrated success in securing funded research projects and collaborating with industry and international partners.
  • Experience in participation in ABET accreditation processes.
