Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Oversight: Assist the Public Area Manager in directing daily cleaning operations across all shared spaces, including lobbies, restaurants, elevators, and outdoor arrival areas.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct frequent inspections to ensure all surfaces, furnishings, and decorative elements meet the strict Luxury Quality Assessment (LQA) standards.
- Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and motivate a team of Public Area Attendants and Supervisors, fostering a culture of "heartfelt hospitality" and anticipatory service.
- Program Planning: Coordinate routine and deep-cleaning programs, such as marble polishing, carpet shampooing, and special setups for VIP arrivals or events.
- Departmental Collaboration: Liaise with Engineering, Front Office, and F&B to address maintenance needs or guest concerns promptly.
- Resource Management: Monitor the usage and inventory of eco-friendly cleaning chemicals and equipment, ensuring adherence to the resort s sustainability and safety protocols.
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3 5 years in luxury hospitality housekeeping, with significant experience in a supervisory or assistant management role.
- Pre-Opening Expertise: Experience in pre-opening stages including project coordination and document control is often mandatory for this specific destination.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in property management systems (like Opera) and a deep understanding of specialized cleaning techniques for high-end finishes.
- Core Attributes: A proactive, anticipatory approach, impeccable grooming, and a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Sustainability Mindset: Commitment to following strict discipline in reducing, reusing, and recycling in line with the Red Sea Global ethos.
