Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Assist in monitoring and maintaining product quality standards throughout the production process.
Conduct routine inspections of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products.
Record quality inspection results and maintain accurate quality control documentation.
Report quality issues, defects, and non-conformities to the Quality Controller or Production Manager.
Assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions to improve product quality.
Ensure compliance with company quality standards, policies, and procedures.
Verify that production processes follow approved specifications and quality requirements.
Coordinate with production teams to resolve quality-related concerns.
Maintain inspection tools, measuring instruments, and quality records.
Support internal and external quality audits as required.
Monitor product packaging, labeling, and storage conditions to ensure quality compliance.
Assist in investigating customer complaints and preparing quality reports.
Ensure workplace cleanliness and adherence to health and safety requirements.
Perform other quality control duties assigned by management.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possession of a High School Diploma or equivalent; an Associate's Degree in a technical field is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a quality control or manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with quality control principles and methodologies within the [Specify Industry, e.g., Food & Beverage, Pharmaceuticals, Electronics] sector.
- Proficiency in using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Basic understanding of statistical process control (SPC) concepts is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with team members.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite for data entry and reporting.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work in a production setting.
