Assistant Quantity Surveyor (Pre-Contract) Job Description: We are looking for an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Dubai, UAE, to support pre-contract commercial and cost management for a large-scale, high-end residential villa community project. This role is ideal for a professional with consultancy experience who is eager to grow within a high-profile development environment. Role Overview The successful candidate will support the Senior Quantity Surveyor in the pre-contract commercial strategy, focusing on assisting with cost planning, the preparation of tender documentation, and the procurement of project packages. You will play a key role in ensuring the commercial accuracy of documentation for high-end residential assets and community infrastructure (e.g., mosques, parks). Key Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of cost plans, elemental estimates, and detailed budgets for villa developments and community amenities. Support the full procurement process, including the drafting of tender documentation, BOQs, and scope-of-work definitions. Assist in tender management cycles, including the pre-qualification of contractors and the initial evaluation of commercial bids. Help facilitate commercial negotiations and contribute to the preparation of tender reports and award recommendations. Provide ongoing commercial support to the consultancy team throughout the design development stages.
