Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
At this level job holders will work within agreements with internal clients and negotiated with banks and other financial institutions to ensure that credit facilities are managed and invested within constraints.
Banking Operations
- Oversee day-to-day banking activities, including account management, fund transfers, and liquidity monitoring.
- Ensure timely execution of payments, collections, and reconciliations across all group entities.
- Monitor bank balances and optimize cash positioning across accounts.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with local and international banks to support the group s financing and operational needs.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure banking services align with business requirements.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and banking regulations.
- Manage trade finance activities, including letters of credit (LCs), letters of guarantee (LGs), and documentary collections.
- Review and process trade documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with contractual and banking requirements.
- Track and report on all trade finance instruments and their utilization.
Bank Facility Management
- Administer and monitor all banking facilities.
- Track facility utilization, limits, covenants, and maturity.
- Ensure compliance with facility agreements and reporting requirements.
Financial Statement Review
- Analyze financial statements of group entities to support banking requirements and facility negotiations.
- Provide banks with required financial information and respond to queries in a timely manner.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and ratios.
Policy and Procedures
- Develop, implement, and maintain banking and treasury-related policies and procedures.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies.
- Continuously review and improve processes to enhance efficiency and risk management.
MS Office
- Utilize Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting, analysis, and documentation.
- Prepare regular reports on cash position, banking facilities, and relationship status.
- Develop financial models, dashboards, and presentations for management decision-making.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor degree in Finance,Economics, Accounting or any relevant field.
0-3years of related experience in investments, financial analysis or corporate banking.
