You will ensure that all activities are carried out in compliance with contract documents, drawings, method statements, and safety requirements. Your role will include site inspections, contractor coordination, and support during testing, certification, and project handover.Your Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the Resident Engineer in day-to-day supervision of electrical works for substations.Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor the contractor's work progress.Liaise with all technical disciplines and attend Site Technical Coordination Meetings.Review contractor submissions, shop drawings, and construction-related documentation.Ensure compliance with approved method statements, layouts, and drawings.Witness site activities, inspections, and testing as per project requirements.Support the Resident Engineer during final inspections, completion certification, and handover of works.Ensure proper implementation of site safety measures.We would love to hear from people withYour QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (approved by UAE regulatory authorities).Minimum 8 years' experience in electrical engineering projects in the UAE, including substations.Who You AreStrong technical knowledge of high-voltage substation construction and supervision.Skilled in site supervision, contractor coordination, and review of technical submissions.Familiar with UAE utility and authority standards.Your Soft SkillsStrong communication and coordination abilities.Detail-oriented, proactive, and safety-conscious mindset.Ability to work effectively in multicultural environments.PreferencePrior experience with TRANSCO, ADDC, DEWA or other major UAE utilities will be highly preferred
