Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Develop and maintain BIM standards, protocols, and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality in BIM models and project workflows.

Collaborate with internal Design team to integrate BIM into design, construction, and project management processes.

Oversee the creation, coordination, and management of 3D BIM models and related data throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.

Provide technical leadership in the use of BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360) and ensure that the team is trained and proficient in these tools.

Monitor and support the team in the implementation of BIM processes, including 3D modeling, clash detection, and virtual design reviews.

Lead BIM coordination meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve any design conflicts or issues.

Ensure that BIM deliverables are aligned with project goals, schedules, budgets, and quality standards.

Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in BIM technology and methodologies and apply them to improve project performance.

Promote continuous improvement in BIM practices and workflows through training, mentorship, and process optimization.

Work closely with senior management to provide input on BIM strategies, project plans, and technological advancements.

Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of BIM models, drawings, and reports throughout the project lifecycle.

Manage the integration of BIM with other project management tools and platforms for seamless collaboration and data sharing.

Desired Candidate Profile

Deep exposure to GCC region and adjacent markets preferred

Demonstrated track record in Civil/Structural design for real estate industry

Strong knowledge of MEP design principles, systems, and technologies (HVAC, lighting, power, water, fire protection, etc.).

Proficient in MEP design software (e.g., AutoCAD MEP, Revit MEP, HVAC design software, electrical load calculation software, etc.).

Experience in managing and leading multidisciplinary teams in a design and project delivery environment.

Thorough understanding of local and international codes, regulations, and standards related to MEP systems.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Strong project management skills, with experience in budget, schedule, and scope management.

Ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.

Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and related field.

Master s Degree preferred.
