Assistant Warehouse Manager MAIR GROUP - P.J.S.C

Responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the warehouse operations. This role ensures the efficient and effective distribution of products, the proper management of inventory, Safety and Hygiene. The Assistant manager will coordinate with various departments to optimize processes and support the overall DC operations strategy.

· Oversee daily operations of distribution centre.

· Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.

· Implement and monitor warehouse safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

· Optimize, and coordinate the full order cycle.

· Ensure timely delivery and distribution of products to customers and outlets.

· Coordinate with the Warehouse Manager to develop and implement inventory control procedures to minimize loss and maximize accuracy in stock levels.

· Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile any discrepancies.

· Control and manage the Expiry and damage goods.

· Foster a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.

· Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards (e.g., health and safety).

· Implement and oversee quality control procedures.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

· Ensure that the warehouse is free from hazards and all employees are adhering to safety rules.

· Oversee the implementation of new warehouse technology or systems, including training staff on its use and ensuring a smooth transition.

· Supervise and schedule warehouse staff, including assigning tasks and evaluating performance.

· Manage the maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment and machinery to ensure operational efficiency and reduce downtime.

· Prepare regular reports on warehouse performance metrics.

Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies promptly.
