Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assist the Warehouse Manager in managing day-to-day warehouse operations, including inbound/outbound shipments, storage and distribution.
  • Supervise and lead a team of 20–25 warehouse staff during assigned shifts, ensuring operational targets are met.
  • Manage and oversee Second shift warehouse operations, ensuring continuity of workflows and smooth handover to the next day/shift.
  • Monitor order fulfillment for retail stores, eCommerce, power retailers and export shipments, ensuring timely processing and dispatch.
  • Allocate tasks, track progress and provide on the floor guidance to ensure accuracy and efficiency in picking, packing and dispatch.
  • Maintain accurate records of shift operations, issues and completed tasks. Also escalate major concerns to the Warehouse Manager.
  • Enforce warehouse safety, security and housekeeping standards across the shift, as per company and government regulations.
  • Act as the in-charge of warehouse operations during the absence of the Warehouse Manager.
  • Support in planning and mapping routes for local distribution and ensuring timely deliveries.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse management processes, distribution and inventory control.
  • Experience managing or supervising a team of 15–25 warehouse staff.
  • Knowledge of UAE retail distribution and basic familiarity with import/export processes.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Good communication skills in English (verbal and written).
  • Flexible to work extended hours when required.
  • Valid driver’s license and own car preferred.
