Roles & Responsibilities
About the Role:
As part of ESLSCA s strategic move toward centralized operations, the Associate, Academic Scheduling plays a critical role in planning, building, and maintaining academic schedules for all university programs. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who thrives on data accuracy, cross-departmental coordination, and deadline-driven execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage historical registration data, enrollment trends, and academic needs to forecast scheduling demands.
- Collaborate with Admissions, Academic Affairs, and departments to design course offerings and capacity planning.
- Create, manage, and finalize semester schedules while ensuring fair and balanced classroom allocations across all branches (on-campus, virtual, hybrid).
- Assign classrooms and modalities based on availability and academic requirements.
- Ensure compliance with university scheduling deadlines and update stakeholders regularly.
- Provide historical reports and room/resource utilization forecasts.
- Support continuous improvement of scheduling processes by documenting procedures and identifying conflicts or inefficiencies.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 1 3 years of experience in scheduling, planning, or academic operations.
- Experience in academic systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of online scheduling tools and hybrid learning environments is preferred.
