Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
• Serve as the first point of contact for assigned clients, managing queries and service requests promptly and professionally. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client financial records in line with UAE standards and regulatory requirements. • Carry out day-to-day bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations. • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations; track outstanding balances. • Review P&L, balance sheet, and expense trends, identifying and flagging anomalies early. • Prepare and file VAT and Corporate Tax returns accurately and within deadlines. • Monitor VAT and CT registration thresholds; maintain compliance calendars. • Stay updated on UAE tax and regulatory developments and communicate relevant impacts to clients.
Desired Candidate Profile
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting. • Pursuing ACCA, ACA, CPA, or CMA qualification is preferred. • 1–2 years of relevant experience, ideally in a consulting/accounting firm (UAE experience preferred). • Solid understanding of accounting principles, full bookkeeping cycle, financial operations, and preparation of financial statements under IFRS. • Strong knowledge of VAT and Corporate Tax fundamentals in the UAE. • Proficiency in MS Excel with the ability to analyze and present financial data effectively. • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Zoho, Xero and Quickbooks) and project management tools (e.g., ClickUp, Asana, Notion) is an added advantage. • Excellent command of English both written and spoken.
