Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop an investment strategy for OIA s funds. This is done by reviewing the portfolio and making recommendations to reposition assets, rebalance portfolio, finalize growth and funding plans.
Continuous analysis of the portfolio s position against strategic plans such as growth & diversification, financial sustainability and economic impact.
Develop OIA s business plan by aggregating the business plans of all its holdings and make recommendations to the management to ensure alignment with strategic direction of the organization.
Design effective models to ensure accurate preparation and timely analysis reports for OIA s Corporate Planning & Strategy division.
Forecast proceeds and uses of cash for the underlying portfolio companies and analyze the financial positions of those investments to make recommendations to optimize the portfolio s value.
Collecting various data & inputs for business plans monitoring systems to ensure compliance with the implementation of departmental policies and procedures within OIA and its companies, and that all relevant procedural and legislative requirements are fulfilled.
Maintain the planning framework, tools and documentation to ensure alignment between all strategic planning processes across OIA group.
Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account leading best practices , improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement to ensure constant communication and alignment between OIA s departments regarding the strategic objectives and business plans.
Provide timely and accurate information to the external and internal auditors as and when required to ensure high standards of confidentiality.
Comply with the implementation of departmental policies and procedures, to ensure that all relevant procedural and legislative requirements are fulfilled.
Comply with all relevant health, safety, and quality requirements, in order to guarantee employee safety and legislative compliance.
Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account leading best practices , improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
Desired Candidate Profile
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or any relevant field
Professional Qualifications
CA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or CMA is preferable
Work Experience
At least 6-8- years of related experience
