Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Partnership Development & Strategy
- Support the Director in the development of a comprehensive partnership strategy that aligns with The Red Sea and AMAALA destinations growth objectives, target segments and markets, and long-term business goals.
- Identify, pursue, and secure new strategic partnerships with key tourism industry stakeholders and partners, both locally and globally.
- Negotiate and formalize partnership agreements and MOU s, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and performance metrics.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing and potential partners to maximize collaboration opportunities and long-term business value to drive and increase visitor flow.
- Market Expansion & Business Development
- Drive market expansion by identifying high-potential regions and markets for new partnerships (both domestic and international).
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging markets, and competitors to identify new opportunities for growth and differentiate our offerings.
- Partner Management & Support
- Oversee the onboarding, training, and support of new partners, ensuring smooth integration into our operations and brand guidelines.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key partners on the management and reporting streams, providing exceptional service and resolving issues to maintain strong relationships.
- Monitor and manage partner performance against agreed KPIs, adjusting strategies and negotiations as needed to optimize results.
- Sales Enablement & Revenue Growth
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop co-branded campaigns, joint promotions, and cross-selling initiatives to drive bookings and revenue.
- Analyze performance data from partnerships and sales campaigns, identifying areas for improvement and new opportunities for revenue generation.
- Marketing Collaboration & Branding
- Collaborate with the marketing team to co-create digital and traditional marketing campaigns aimed at increasing brand visibility and attracting new customers through our partnerships.
- Ensure that all partnership marketing materials align with the company s brand standards and objectives, while also highlighting the unique selling points of each partner.
- Reporting & Analytics
- Provide regular reports to senior leadership on the performance of partnerships, including key metrics such as sales, bookings, lead generation, and partner satisfaction.
- Use data and feedback to assess the effectiveness of each partnership, adjusting strategies and activities accordingly.
- Prepare business reviews and strategic recommendations for key partners to ensure alignment and maximize the overall impact of the partnership.
Desired Candidate Profile
Academic Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Tourism, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Years of Experience: 8+ years of experience in tourism partnerships, business development, or sales, ideally within a Destination Management Company (DMC), tour operator, or travel agency. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with international tourism markets and global partnerships. Advanced knowledge of destination marketing, sales strategies, and promotional campaigns. Fluency in additional languages (e.g., Spanish, French, German, Mandarin) is a plus. Familiarity with travel technology platforms, booking systems, and digital marketing tools. Master s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Personal Attributes: Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset, able to identify and capitalize on business opportunities. Results-driven, with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes and driving growth. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with diverse stakeholders. Proactive, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Passionate about tourism and creating exceptional travel experiences for clients.
