Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage complex construction disputes, claims and arbitrations
  • Draft, review and negotiate settlement agreements and dispute documentation
  • Advise on contractual risk across major construction and development projects
  • Support PPP, joint venture and consortium arrangements from a legal perspective
  • Work closely with senior leadership, project teams and external counsel
  • Provide pragmatic legal input during live project execution
  • Contribute to dispute avoidance strategies and claims management processes

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 4-6 years' post qualification experience in contentious construction law
  • Background in a well regarded private practice law firm within the GCC
  • Strong experience handling construction claims, disputes and arbitrations
  • Exposure to large scale development or infrastructure projects
  • Solid understanding of contractual risk management and dispute resolution
  • Familiarity with KSA regulations and relevant Sharia law principles
  • Admitted or eligible to practise in a Commonwealth jurisdiction
