Job Description – Associate Electrical Engineer

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Electrical Engineer to support electrical engineering and design activities across various projects. The role involves assisting in preparation of electrical designs, technical documentation, coordination with project teams, and ensuring compliance with applicable engineering standards and safety regulations. Fresh graduates with strong technical knowledge and eagerness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of electrical layouts, schematics, single-line diagrams, and load calculations

• Support electrical design reviews and preparation of technical documentation

• Coordinate with electrical engineers, consultants, contractors, and project teams for smooth project execution

• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, electrical codes, and safety standards

• Support site inspections, testing, and commissioning activities

• Assist in preparation of BOQs, material submittals, and technical reports

• Review drawings and identify design discrepancies or technical issues

• Maintain project records and ensure documentation is updated accurately

• Support troubleshooting and resolution of electrical engineering issues during project execution

• Participate in meetings and provide engineering support as required

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation Engineering

• 0–3 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering projects (fresh graduates may be considered)

• Knowledge of electrical systems, standards, and engineering principles

• Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Autodesk Revit preferred

• Understanding of load calculations, electrical layouts, and schematics

• Good communication, coordination, and teamwork skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment

• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
