The primary purpose of the Customer Network Operations Centre (NOC) role is to ensure optimal and continuous performance of the Business Customer’s network services. This role is crucial for monitoring, managing, and maintaining the customers network systems around the clock. The NOC Associate Engineer will be responsible for detecting, responding and resolving incidents, requests and issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum operational efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Work in a 24x7x365 NOC & SOC environment.

2. Network Monitoring: Continuously monitor network performance using advanced tools and software to detect, diagnose, and address network anomalies and outages in real-time.

3. Incident Management: Respond to network incidents and outages promptly to minimize disruption to services and ensure timely resolution. Document incidents meticulously for future reference and preventive measures.

4. Troubleshooting: Employ systematic troubleshooting techniques to quickly isolate and resolve network issues. This includes liaising with internal support teams and external vendors when necessary.

5. Maintenance and Upgrades: Schedule and perform regular maintenance and updates to network hardware and software to ensure optimal network performance and security.

6. Reporting: Generate regular reports on network status, incident management, and resolution outcomes for stakeholders to ensure transparent communication regarding network health.

7. Compliance and Security: Adhere to all company policies and regulatory requirements to ensure network integrity and security. Implement preventive measures to protect network data and infrastructure from cyber threats.

8. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members and departments to support cross-functional networking needs and initiatives.
