Roles & Responsibilities

This role contributes to embedding risk awareness, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, and enhancing the organisation s ability to identify, assess, respond to, and monitor key risks. You will also play a role in preparing risk reports for senior leadership, facilitating risk workshops, and driving forward key risk initiatives.ResponsibilitiesAssist in implementing and periodically reviewing the Group ERM framework, risk appetite statements, and supporting procedures.Lead and facilitate risk workshops with departments and business units to identify, assess, and mitigate key enterprise and operational risks. Maintain the enterprise risk register and oversee the consistency and accuracy of functional and project risk registers. Monitor and report on Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), emerging risks, and risk appetite thresholds; ensure timely escalation of breaches.Coordinate the quarterly risk reporting process, including the preparation of dashboards and reports to the Management Committee and other governance bodies. Support the Director of ERM in the identification and assessment of emerging risks, geopolitical exposures, and regulatory developments. Oversee the tracking of risk mitigation plans, control effectiveness, and status of audit and risk-related actions. Contribute to scenario analysis, stress testing, and horizon scanning exercises. Support the rollout of training and awareness sessions to strengthen the risk culture across departments. Contribute to the specification and enhancement of GRC systems and tools used for risk data management and reporting.

Minimum Qualifications & Experienc
eBachelor s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering or a related field. A Master s degree or postgraduate qualification is advantageous. Professional Certifications (Preferred) Institute of Risk Management (IRM), ISO 31000, CRMA, CIA, or FRM. PRM, CERA, or equivalent.Minimum 4-6 years of relevant experience in ERM, preferably in a diversified group, investment firm, or regulated industry. Demonstrated ability to engage with senior stakeholders and drive risk-based conversations. Experience in managing risk reporting cycles, and governance processes.
