Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Associate Lab Technologist performs a variety of clinical laboratory tests with low and moderate complexity in different lab units including Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Molecular Microbiology, Histology and Transfusion Medicine in accordance with standard laboratory practice and procedures to obtain accurate and precise data for use in diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
Operational Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform routine Laboratory tests using automated analyzers or manual techniques in Chemistry Serology and immunology
- Perform routine low and moderate complexity testing in Microbiology Hematology and blood bank unit including donor center unit collection and required testing on donated units
- Work in histology unit to perfom required specimen preparation and staining
- Perform phlebotomy and other job related miscellaneous activities requested Collects blood frominpatients and outPatients by finger stick or venipuncture
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in medical technology/Clinical Laboratory Technology or Laboratory science program accredited by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS) is required.
SCFHS Classification and Saudi MOH Licensed
Medical Laboratory technologists/Specialist
No prior experience or up to 1 year of relevant experience in a licensed Medical facility/Clinical laboratory as Lab Medical Technologist along with Completion of 1 year internship.
